We are looking for a communications officer to support the client's communication and PR activities with a focus on the Dutch and Flemish press. Something for you?

What can you expect from this assignment?

• This freelance assignment supports the client's communication and PR activities with a focus on the Dutch press and additional support towards the Flemish press and audience.
• The assignment is situated within client Communicatie and focuses on strengthening the visibility of client, its brands and programmes in the Netherlands, as well as positioning client as a creative and innovative media partner with a view to collaborations and co-productions.
• The contractor contributes to the detection and use of (press) opportunities, the translation of stories and projects to the Dutch context and the follow-up of communication initiatives in consultation with the stakeholders involved.

What do we expect from you?

• Demonstrable experience with PR and media relations, including within the Dutch market.
• Thorough knowledge of the Dutch media landscape.
• Affinity with media.
• Ability to translate corporate stories, programs and projects into relevant communication for the Dutch press.
• Working independently, proactively and result-oriented.
• Able to maintain and expand a relevant press and partner network.

Attendance: The assignment provides for a physical presence on Monday at the client's in Brussels. Other services can be spread flexibly over the week, tailored to the assignment needs. What do we offer you?

You will receive a part-time contract for a freelance assignment through an intermediary for 1 year. Extensions and rate adjustments are possible by mutual agreement (Max. 3 times extendable and rate adjustments maximum according to the applicable agoria index).
